Battery system Excavator

For a concept Excavator with 100% electric drive in an off-shore application, EV Europe designed, built and tested a customer-specific battery system. The battery system is composed of safe LifePo4 battery cells with a total capacity of 360 kWh and voltage of 400 VDC. The system is suitable for peak power above 200 kW and continuous power of about 50 kW.

Specifically for this application, the system is extra robust in stainless steel housings and equipped with a 44 kW AC charging system and a CCS2 fast charging system.
