Complete EV conversion kit for a 2CV based on our ME1616™ drivetrain and a Lithium battery system. This is not a box of loose parts like other providers for your EV conversion, however as far as possible for assembled, tuned and tested components to make a conversion as easy and with as little labor as possible!
Basically, the ME1616 set can already run with the HV wiring, a throttle and only 1 signal. All the primary components to drive a vehicle are integrated into the design of the ME1616 drive system.

- LED illuminated EV Europe logo that comes on when the EV hypE is in drive mode. Also, the LED will indicate by flashing signals which charging mode the battery system is in (if the BMS system is also purchased from EV Europe)
- Aluminum cow plate and rugged metal housing with powder coated finish.
- Standard 12V Drive output signal serving the R100 mandatory door switch
The standard set includes:
- ME1616™ max 50 kW – continuous 20 kW high voltage max 130 VDC – 220 Nm – “fully assembled, tested and ready to use” drive system including DC-DC inverter, main power fuse, control electronics, simplified charge controller, drive lock, ready to drive signal, all prepared according to EU automotive R100 rules.
- Gas pedal sensor that can be connected to the existing gas pedal sensor
- EV charging communication according to simplified mode CP/PP signals, including drive lock
- 2cv gearbox adapter piece, adapter shaft and front motor mount motors to mount the e-motor on the existing gearbox.
The optional battery pack + bms + charger package consists of:
- 21.2 kWh battery pack with tesla battery modules (used and tested), including R10 approved BMS system, connection board and Bluetooth app functionality.
- OEM CAN bus controlled 3.3 kwatt charger or 10 kwatt – 3 phase OEM charging solution + plug set with pre-assembled cable – length 3 meters.
- Type 2 “Mennekes” charging socket (vehicle side).
- HV Service disconnect including interlock.
- 8 mtr orange (according to european R100 rules) HV cable 50 mm2 – shielded + 2 mtr orange HV cable 50 mm2 + 16x cable eye 50 mm2 – 8 mm + 6 mtr CAN communication cable.
- All the necessary buttons and plugs for a complete EV conversion.
- battery housing for placement in the trunk

- DC Heater, however various options available.
