- Socket outlet overtemperature protection function description:
V2L-HK adapter has a very high quality socket built-in that won’t overheat at continuous current of 16 A (13 A for Type G). However, if bad or low quality plug is inserted
in adapter’s socket it can dissipate a lot of heat. This heat is then detected by adapter’s temperature sensor. If or when it exceeds allowed temperature range the
adapter sends a signal to the car to disconnect power. When it sufficiently cools down the adapter automatically sends a signal to the car to apply power back. This
process can repeat endlessly.
